Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into the limelight in 1994 when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't nothing but A number. The album, made available at just 15 years old was certified Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought the singer into the spotlight. In 1996 she worked with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to record her follow-up album One In A Million which contained the number-one hit single If You Only Knew.
